Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic JB Sales Head (Sr. Manager/Manager) to drive JB’s market penetration across India, focusing on SMB retail adoption. This role requires a strong mix of strategic planning and on-ground execution to deliver sales growth, build channel partnerships, and close strategic enterprise deals. The ideal candidate will be a proven sales leader with the ability to inspire teams, build scalable channels, and consistently deliver results.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sales Ownership: Take complete responsibility for achieving quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead SDRs, Inside Sales, and Field Executives, ensuring pipeline generation and conversion.
  • Channel Development: Build and manage strong partnerships with distributors, resellers, and ecosystem partners to accelerate growth.
  • Strategic Deals: Engage and close large SMB chains and enterprise accounts to drive high-value opportunities.
  • Marketing Alignment: Work closely with marketing teams to align campaigns and initiatives with pipeline and business needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Monitor and ensure pipeline health, focusing on volume, velocity, and win rates.
  • Partner Productivity: Drive channel partner performance through enablement, training, and measurable outcomes.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Strength of sales pipeline (volume, velocity, and win rate).
  • Productivity and performance of channel partners.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales leadership within SMB tech/retail solutions or a similar industry.
  • Strong ability to combine strategic planning with hands-on execution.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi; proficiency in regional languages (Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi, etc.) is a strong plus.
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire.
  • Analytical and numbers-driven, with experience managing pipeline health and KPIs.
  • Experience in building and scaling distributor/reseller networks.
  • Ownership-driven, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
