Head of Sales – Product Engineering Services

Job Description

As the Head of Sales for EffiaSoft’s Product Engineering Services, you will lead our global go-to-market strategy for software and product engineering offerings. This techno-commercial leadership role demands a unique combination of sales acumen, technical understanding, international experience, and a strong network across CIOs, procurement heads, and engineering leadership.

You will drive revenue growth, build trusted client relationships, and scale EffiaSoft’s presence across global markets—by leveraging your credibility, consultative selling skills, and ability to open doors.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Lead global GTM strategy for product engineering services across verticals such as SaaS, fintech, healthtech, logistics, and manufacturing.
  • Own sales planning, forecasting, and quota achievement for international markets.

Client Acquisition & Global Sales Leadership

  • Sell remotely across time zones and geographies—US, Europe, APAC, and Middle East—with strong understanding of international buyer behavior.
  • Own the full sales cycle: qualification, remote demo, solution design, proposal, negotiation, and closure.

Strong Industry Network

  • Leverage a strong network of CIOs, procurement leaders, product heads, and engineering decision-makers to open doors and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Build executive-level relationships and gain early access to RFPs, closed group bids, and strategic sourcing cycles.

Consultative Technical Solutioning

  • Translate client needs into tailored engineering solutions in collaboration with solution architects and delivery heads.
  • Lead pre-sales activities including POCs, solution walkthroughs, and cost/value analysis.

Account Growth & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Grow accounts through upsell, cross-sell, and multi-year engagement models.
  • Maintain continuous CXO engagement and ensure strategic alignment across stakeholder tiers.

Team Leadership & Enablement

  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of technical sales and solution consultants.
  • Establish scalable playbooks, proposal templates, pricing models, and repeatable best practices.

Marketing & GTM Synergy

  • Work closely with marketing to develop globally relevant thought leadership, case studies, and campaign inputs.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 10-15 years of enterprise/B2B sales in software or engineering services; 5+ years in a sales leadership or business head role.
  • Demonstrated success selling product engineering or digital transformation services to global clients.
  • Proven experience managing long, consultative sales cycles and complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

Global & Remote Selling Expertise

  • Experience in remote client management and international business development—especially across North America, Europe, and APAC.
  • Cross-cultural selling acumen, familiarity with international contract frameworks and deal structuring.

Technical & Domain Acumen

  • Familiarity with software development life cycles, DevOps, cloud-native engineering, microservices, embedded platforms, and R&D models.
  • Ability to guide solution design, pricing discussions, and align proposals with ROI-based value narratives.

Network & Influence

  • Well-connected within CIO, CTO, VP-Engineering, and procurement communities across industries.
  • Ability to bring in early leads, influence deal flow, and secure early invites to high-value bids and partnership discussions.

Leadership & Communication

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable leading global sales calls, board-level reviews, and joint client planning sessions.
